My Background
My formal education includes a Bachelors and Masters in Social Work and a Masters of Arts and Doctorate in Ministry/with a concentration in spirituality/living mindfully with intention. I have a certificate in Life Coaching with a concentration on living with simplicity (we all do simplicity differently, it's very personal and customized for each of us).
I studied calIigraphy from a professional artist for a few years and then, on my own, I did calligraphy professionally for over ten years. In the early 90's I learned how to create jewelry and I continued to create and sell jewelry for a few decades. I wrote and published two books in 2021, “Minimalism For Wellbeing: A Guide To Simplifying All Facets of Your Life” (May 2021) and “A Journey to Authenticity: Finding Freedom, Peace and Joy” (October 2021) and a third book "Living With Simplicity: & Discovering What Matters" in May 2025. For the past few years I take photographs of nature and sell my prints in the form of blank greeting cards and they look great in 5x7 frames. Recently, I find beautiful treasures on the beach where I live and make angel art (using drift wood, angel wing shells [angel wing shells I found in Florida], and a few other types of shells). I also collect sand dollars and paint them. I enjoy creating art in many forms and I continue to seek out opportunities to learn new artistic expressions.

LIVING WITH SIMPLICITY COACHING SESSIONS--
I offer virtual sessions coaching individuals on Living With Simplicity, encouraging them to achieve their desires in living a healthy and fulfilling life. I offer personalized support to help empower clients to navigate challenges and embrace positive change. I am dedicated to helping people simplify their lives and find clarity, providing the tools and encouragement needed for lasting personal growth. My services are available to any adults in the US or other English speaking locations. I meet people individually and virtually on the first Tuesdays of each month. We choose a time that works for both of us. My fee for a 60 minute monthly session is $150.00. and it includes homework (customized worksheets for each persons' goals) to do weekly between our monthly appointments. SPIRITUAL JOURNEY GROUP--
I offer a virtual space as a group facilitator & participant for people to gather and share aspects of our spiritual journey. This group is not about religion but rather about our personal spiritual experiences on our life journey.
We usually benefit from learning from each other and when we can gather virtually/online as a group (group size limit is 8 participants) on Zoom, and share our spiritual journeys as well as listen to others' experiences, it can change our lives in magical ways. When we are open to expanding our understanding and daring to take the time to explore this powerful process, we are allowing ourselves to feed our souls. If you are interested in participating in this group contact me and we can discuss it further. When I have at least three people we can start meeting on Zoom on the second Tuesday 10:00-11:30AM (Eastern Time). The fee is 10.00 a meeting. I would like to start with six weeks and then re-evaluate if we want to continue. This is not connected to any religion. If you are seeking religious support of any kind this group is not for you. Marie A. Laverriere lives in Southern Coastal Maine right across the street from the ocean/beach with her golden doodle, Henry. She has been living in a tiny cottage of 293 square feet since 2019 and she continues to enjoy living this simple life. Her education, life experiences and her spiritual journey has encouraged her to have a focus on living mindfully with intention.
She continues to be open to learning through her offerings with clients: Living With Simplicity Coaching sessions and the Spiritual Journey Group. Writing is another way that she is able to process and learn concerning her life journey. She is a strong believer in taking the time to be creative, to express each our own creative essences. She does this through her nature photography and other artful expressions--since she walks on the beach often she has collected several natural elements from the sea to create angel art and decorated sand dollars.
